Assistant Principal's Message

September 2017

Dear Randolphville Family,

Welcome to the start of the 2017-2018 school year! I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are returning to school refreshed and ready for all the opportunities this year has to offer. I look forward to hearing about all the adventures students had over the summer months. These experiences often turn up in student writing, help them make connections, and inspire them to read new books.

As many of you may know, I am again returning to Randolphville as the Assistant Principal and I am very excited to work with the committed teachers, staff, and families that make Randolphville such a welcoming community, dedicated to the education of our students. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of our new Kindergarten families and any new students that are coming to us for the first time this year.

Some of the focuses we have this year include the continued implementation of Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop, technology integration in the classroom and digital literacy skills for our students, and cross curricular integration across the content and special areas. It is going to be an exciting year here at Randolphville!

I am looking forward to supporting student growth and learning and to another successful school year here at Randolphville.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Welcome back!
